Book Illustration of the Year Competition

Our entry for the Book Illustration of the Year Competition 2019. This year entrants were to illustrate chapters and design a cover for Howl’s moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. Our cover design is based on a scene in which Howl’s triangular patchwork suit grows to a massive size and bursts through his bedroom door. For the chapter Illustrations, we focused on the descriptions of whimsical architecture and fairy-tale settings.
